Surfing pic's September 2011

      As Hurricane Katia was directly off the coast of  the Outer Banks there was too much moving water to surf there. I decided to surf in Va. Beach where it was more manageable. It was well overhead and firing.

    Then it was off to the Outer Banks for 3 days for some of best surf I've caught in recent memory.Check back for more pic's .

Visited  a secret little sandbar somewhere in the southern part of town that good friends and I used to surf at when we were in high school. Also happens to be the first place I ever got barreled at.
No one was out and there were perfect little right tubes coming in
